The wet conditions at the German circuit did not hold Marc Marquez back as the Championship leader went on to win at the Sachsenring.
Marc Marquez bounced back from a poor start to take victory in the Sprint Race at the Sachsenring. This win took the Spaniard to 10 Sprint wins in 2025.
Despite leading for the majority of the race, Marco Bezzecchi had to settle for second place at the Sachsenring as he was beaten by Marquez on the last lap.
Fabio Quartararo featured on the Sprint Race podium for the first time this season as he finished in third place at the German circuit.
Fabio di Giannantonio could not beat Quartararo in the latter laps, but the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider had to settle for fourth.
Jack Miller had his best Sprint Race result of the season as he finished in fifth place in the wet conditions for the Prima Pramac Racing squad.
The top KTM rider was the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider of Brad Binder, as the South African finished in sixth place.
Johann Zarco was the top Honda rider at the Sachsenring as he finished in seventh place for the LCR Honda Castrol squad.
Alex Marquez could not keep up his streak of first or second in every Sprint Race as he finished in eighth place for the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP squad.
Taking the final point in the Sprint Race was Pedro Acosta, the Spaniard was fighting at the front but after running through the gravel the Spaniard came back to ninth place.
