Fabio Quartararo and Yamaha will start from pole position for the third time in the 2025 MotoGP season.
For the third time in the 2025 MotoGP season, Fabio Quartararo claimed pole position. The French rider was on pole at Jerez, Le Mans and now Silverstone.
Alex Marquez continued his quest for his first pole position of the season as he qualified in second place again. The BK8 Gresini Racing rider will lineup in the middle of the front row alongside a Yamaha and a fellow Ducati rider.
Francesco Bagnaia will start from the back of the front row as he put his factory Ducati in third place. The Italian was able to outqualify his teammate in what could be a crucial weekend for the former Champion.
At the front of the second row will be Marc Marquez as he qualified in fourth place. On his final run he made a mistake and had to settle for a second-row start at Silverstone.
Fermin Aldeguer will start from the middle of the second row on the BK8 Gresini Racing machine. The Spaniard qualified in fifth place and was 0.159 seconds behind Marc Marquez.
Jack Miller was the second Yamaha rider on the front two rows as he put his Prima Pramac Racing Yamaha in sixth place on the grid.
At the head of the third row will be Fabio di Giannantonio on the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Ducati.
Honda will start from eighth and ninth place on the grid as Luca Marini put his Honda HRC Castrol machine in eighth and Johann Zarco put his LCR Honda in ninth.
Completing the top ten was Franco Morbidelli on the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team machine, but he will have a three-place grid penalty for the Grand Prix.
