Jorge Martin dominated the Indonesian Grand Prix in a race that saw only 12 riders finish the 27-lap race.
After crashing on Saturday in the Sprint Race Jorge Martin went on to dominate the Indonesian Grand Prix. The Spanish rider was devastated after crashing out of the lead but turned it around on Sunday and won his first Grand Prix since Le Mans.
The rider who crossed the line in second place was Pedro Acosta who claimed his first podium since Aragon. However, after the race a tyre pressure warning was triggered on the #37 GasGas machine. This means that Acosta could be relegated down the order.
Francesco Bagnaia had a horrible start in Indonesia as his Ducati bobbled off the line. However, the Italian put together a brilliant race pace and passed several riders and finished in third. Bagnaia could get promoted to second, which would be crucial for the Championship.
Prima Pramac Racing rider Franco Morbidelli narrowly missed out on his first MotoGP podium since 2021. However, the Italian rider finished in fourth place just off the podium in an impressive ride.
Marco Bezzecchi took his Ducati GP23 to a top-five finish as he crossed the line in fifth place, just behind his good friends Bagnaia and Morbidelli.
The top Aprilia rider in Indonesia was Maverick Vinales who finished in sixth place at Mandalika. The Aprilia Racing rider has had difficult races in recent weeks but now has two sixth places in a row.
Yamaha is in the top ten for the third weekend in a row as Fabio Quartararo finished in seventh. The Fench rider was unable to claim his first podium of the 2024 season and has now lost his podium streak at Mandalika.
Once again the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team were unable to match the GasGas Factory Racing Tech3 squad. Brad Binder was the only factory KTM rider who finished the race and crossed the line in eighth.
For the first time this season, Honda has a top-ten finish in a full-distance Grand Prix race. LCR Honda rider, Johann Zarco, crossed the line in ninth place.
Completing the top ten was Trackhouse Racing rider Raul Fernandez who finished in tenth place.
It could be the end of the Championship challenge for Enea Bastianini and Marc Marquez. Bastianini crashed out of third place whilst chasing Acosta and Martin. Whereas, Marquez suffered a mechanical issue and had to withdraw from the race.
