It was Maverick Vinales who topped the final MotoGP Practice session ahead of Qualifying at the Italian Grand Prix.
After setting the pace on Friday afternoon in Practice, Maverick Vinales returned to the top of the timesheets on Saturday morning in Free Practice Two.
Marc Marquez continued to challenge Vinales' best lap time as he ended up in second place, only 0.016 seconds behind the KTM rider.
Despite his dislocated shoulder on Friday afternoon, Fabio Quartararo remains at the sharp end as he ended Free Practice Two in third.
Alex Marquez and the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP squad were on the pace on Saturday morning as they ended up in fourth.
The second KTM rider inside the top five in Free Practice Two was Pedro Acosta, as he ended up in fifth on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machine.
Fabio di Giannantonio and the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team missed out on the top five but ended the session in sixth.
The only Aprilia rider to end up inside the top ten was once again Marco Bezzecchi as he ended the final Practice session in seventh.
Franco Morbidelli joined his teammate inside the top ten as he ended the session in eighth place on his Ducati GP24.
For the first time this weekend, Fermin Aldeguer ended a Practice session inside the top ten as he finished in ninth.
Francesco Bagnaia and the Ducati Lenovo Team completed the top ten as the two-time MotoGP World Champion ended up in tenth.
