MotoGP Italy, Qualifying Results | Marc Marquez claimed his 100th pole position with an all-time lap record at Mugello

A new all-time lap record allowed Marc Marquez to claim his 100th Grand Prix pole position across all classes.

Marc Marquez headed a Ducati front row lockout as he claimed pole position with a new all-time lap record at Mugello.

Francesco Bagnaia will start from second place on the grid alongside his factory Ducati teammate. The Italian could not match his teammate and will have to battle hard in the races.

Alex Marquez completed the Ducati front row lockout as he will start from third on the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP machine.

Despite all of his injury issues on Friday, Fabio Quartararo will start from the head of the second row in fourth place on the Monster Energy Yamaha.

Maverick Vinales was the top KTM rider in Qualifying as he put his Red Bull KTM Tech3 machine in fifth place on the grid in the middle of the second row.

Completing the second row of the grid was Franco Morbidelli on the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Ducati GP24.

Fabio di Gianantonio was directly behind his teammate on the timesheets, but will start from the head of the third row on the grid in seventh place.

The second KTM rider in the top ten in MotoGP Qualifying was Pedro Acosta, as he qualified in eighth place on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing RC16.

Alex Rins completed the third row of the grid as he qualified in ninth place on the Monster Energy Yamaha M1.

Completing the top ten was the top Aprilia rider as Marco Bezzecchi qualified at the head of the fourth row of the grid in tenth place.
