Fermin Aldeguer continued the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP team's perfect start to the weekend at the Portuguese Grand Prix.
After the Moto2 and Moto3 Free Practice Two sessions were impacted by a damp track, the MotoGP riders had to go out on track ahead of their Qualifying sessions, and it was Fermin Aldeguer who topped the Saturday morning session.
Alex Marquez made it a BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP 1-2 on Saturday morning as he was 0.003 seconds behind his rookie teammate in Free Practice Two.
Joan Mir has been having a strong weekend at the Portuguese Grand Prix as he heads into Qualifying after finishing third in the Free Practice Two session.
The top Aprilia rider on Saturday morning was Aprilia Racing's Marco Bezzecchi, the Italian started the second day of the Portuguese Grand Prix in fourth place.
Francesco Bagnaia rounded out the top five in Free Practice Two, after securing a Q2 spot on Friday, the Italian will be hopeful of a strong weekend.
The top KTM rider in Free Practice Two was the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider, Pedro Acosta, who started the day in sixth place.
Johann Zarco was the second Honda rider to feature inside the top ten on Saturday morning as he ended up in seventh place on the LCR Honda Castrol machine.
After a trip to the hospital on Friday, Raul Fernandez wasted no time on Saturday morning and started the day in eighth place.
KTM Test Rider, Pol Espargaro, continues to put in strong performances as Maverick Vinales' replacement as he started Saturday at Portimao in ninth place.
Completing the top ten was the top Yamaha rider, Jack Miller, the Australian rider was the first to brave slick tyres in the damp conditions, but could not match the rest of the field throughout the session.
