Alex Marquez secured his third Sprint Race victory of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship.
For the third time in the 2025 MotoGP season, Alex Marquez took victory in the Sprint Race as he dominated the 13 Lap race around the Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
Pedro Acosta's wait for victory continues as the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider was unable to match Marquez and the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP squad, and crossed the line in second.
In the latter laps of the Sprint Race, Fabio di Giannantonio was able to make his way back into third place after battling with Aprilia, and took his fifth Sprint podium of the season.
Raul Fernandez was the top Aprilia rider on Saturday afternoon as the Spaniard crossed the line in fourth place for the Trackhouse Racing squad.
Rounding out the top five was the pole sitter, Marco Bezzecchi, who had a nightmare opening lap and dropped back to sixth, but was able to make his way back to fifth at the chequered flag.
Just outside of the top five was the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider, Franco Morbidelli, who made his way from seventh on the grid to sixth in the Sprint Race.
Fabio Quartararo was unable to maximise his second row grid position, as he dropped back to seventh place in the Sprint Race.
The second KTM rider in the points on Saturday afternoon was the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider, Brad Binder, who ended the Sprint in eighth place.
Taking the final point on Saturday afternoon was the Trackhouse Racing rider, Ai Ogura.
