Pol Espargaro will make his first appearance on a MotoGP bike since March at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed as part of a KTM line-up that also includes title contender Brad Binder.
Espargaro has been sidelined since the opening day of the 2023 MotoGP season after crashing heavily from his GasGas Factory Racing Tech3 KTM RC16 during Friday Practice for the Portuguese MotoGP at Portimao.
Suffering a fractured jaw - which forced him to have his jaw wired shut for almost a month - and sustaining fractures to his back, Espargaro has been on the slow road to recovery ever since.
Having been forced to postpone a targeted return to action in Germany or the Netherlands to once racing resumes after the summer break, Espargaro will instead warm-up for his comeback as part of KTM and GasGas’ Goodwood FoS exhibition.

With the Festival of Speed - which gathers companies from across the world of motoring, motorcycling and motorsport, both past, present and future - celebrating its 30 year anniversary this year, KTM will have its models on display.
It will then send Espargaro, Binder, Augusto Fernandez and Mika Kallio for Goodwood's iconic hillclimb run.
KTM and GasGas won’t be the only present-day MotoGP representatives making an appearance over the four day event with Ducati represented by championship leader Pecco Bagnaia, together with team-mates Enea Bastianini and Michele Pirro, while Aprilia and RNF Racing will also be involved.
