Trackhouse Racing will work in full cooperation with Aprilia for the 2025 MotoGP season.
Since expanding into MotoGP Trackhouse Racing has worked alongside Aprilia as their satellite team. The team is managed by Davide Brivio, an experienced Team Manager who has worked with the likes of Yamaha and Suzuki.
Brivio has overseen the team convert from RNF to Trackhouse across the last season and the team has already made their mark. They may not have set the racing world on fire but they claimed a Sprint Race podium in their first season.
For the 2025 season, the team will have Raul Fernandez and Ai Ogura on their Aprilia RS-GP machines. Last year the team received old Aprilia machinery from 2023 until Fernandez was gifted a 2024 machine for the back end of the season. However, both Fernandez and Ogura will have factory Aprilia machines.
The update in machinery shows the connection and cooperation between Aprilia and Trackhouse, something that Brivio told our colleagues at Crash.net about at the end of the 2024 season.
“Yes, of course, we are very well connected with Aprilia," Brivio stated. "First of all, we have the same bike, and especially next year in 2025 we will really start from the beginning with exactly the same factory materials, same factory bikes. And this already shows by fact the connection and the interest.
“Anyway, we were very close with Aprilia, we shared a lot of information, discussed decisions, stuff like that. Of course, as an independent team, we are independent on certain things. But we share ideas, we share comments, we share what we can improve, what can be better.
“So, I would say we have a very good connection and full cooperation with them. And also I think for Aprilia it’s beneficial to have an independent team: more information, more data. So, it’s working well so far.”
