Toprak Razgatlioglu controlled the timesheets at MotorLand Aragon as he was half a second clear of the field in Free Practice One.
In the opening World Superbike session of the weekend, it was Toprak Razgatlioglu who dominated the timesheets as he topped the timesheets by 0.535 seconds.
The closest challenger to Razgatlioglu was the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati rider, Nicolo Bulega. If the Italian wants to remain in the title fight, he must beat the Turkish rider this weekend at Aragon.
Alvaro Bautista was at the sharp end at the end of Free Practice One as he ended up in third place on the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati.
It is expected that Xavi Vierge will join Yamaha in 2026, but at the end of Free Practice One at Aragon, he was in fourth place for Team Honda HRC.
Rounding out the top five was the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team rider, Sam Lowes. The British rider has had success at Aragon in Moto2, and is hoping for a strong weekend.
Outside of the top five was the Team Pata GoEleven rider, Andrea Iannone, who was in sixth place and is hoping for a strong weekend at the circuit where he took his first World Superbike win.
Despite a crash at the end of the session, Michael van der Mark was back inside the top ten as he ended the morning in seventh place on the BMW M1000RR.
American rider Garrett Gerloff returned to the top ten as he finished in eighth place for the Kawasaki WorldSBK Team.
The top bimota rider in the opening session of the weekend was the British rider, Alex Lowes. He started his weekend in ninth place on the KB998 Rimini.
Completing the top ten was the top Yamaha rider, Jonathan Rea. The six-time World Superbike Champion had a solid start to his final World Superbike weekend at Aragon.
