Nicolo Bulega was able to end Free Practice Two on top, but Razgatlioglu's Free Practice One time remained the fastest of the day.
After Toprak Razgatlioglu topped the timesheets on Friday morning, it was Nicolo Bulega who took top spot in the afternoon Free Practice Two session at MotorLand Aragon. But Razgatlioglu's Free Practice One lap time remained the fastest of the day.
Razgatlioglu was Bulega's closest challenger in Free Practice Two as the Turkish rider set a lap time that put him 0.012 seconds behind the Italian in second place.
Sam Lowes was the top British rider at the end of the opening day at MotorLand Aragon, as the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team rider finished third in Free Practice Two.
The top Yamaha rider was the Pata Maxus Yamaha rider, Andrea Locatelli. The Italian missed out on the top ten in Free Practice One but ended Free Practice Two in fourth place.
Rounding out the top five was the two-time World Superbike Champion, Alvaro Bautista. But the Spaniard was 0.363 seconds behind his Aruba.it Racing - Ducati teammate.
Michael van der Mark narrowly missed out on a spot in the top five, but completed a positive opening day as he was in sixth place at the end of Free Practice Two.
The fourth Ducati rider inside the top ten at the end of Friday was the Barni Spark Racing Team rider, Danilo Petrucci. The Italian was in seventh place when the chequered flag was shown at the end of Free Practice Two.
Xavi Vierge's day started with him in fourth place in Free Practice One, but the Spaniard dropped down to eighth place on his Honda HRC machine in Free Practice Two.
The fifth Ducati rider in the top ten at the end of Free Practice Two was Team Pata GoEleven Ducati rider, Andrea Iannone, who was in ninth place.
Completing the top ten was the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team rider, Axel Bassani.
