Aragon WorldSBK, Race Two Results | Bautista does the double at Aragon, Razgatlioglu finishes second

Gold and Goose

After not winning since Assen Alvaro Bautista had two trips to the top step of the podium at Aragon.

Alvaro Bautista takes his second win of the weekend at MototrLand Aragon after destroying the field. The Spanish rider had not won a race since Assen earlier this season, now he has won two races in one weekend.

On his return to World Superbike racing Toprak Razgatlioglu gets two podiums in three races. The Turkish rider finished second in both the races on Sunday and extended his Championship lead.

Nicolo Bulega had lowered Razgatlioglu's lead to 13 points in the Championship. However, after being beaten by the BMW in every race this weekend the Italian has lost a lot of ground.

Just off the podium was Andrea Iannone on the Team GoEleven Ducati in fourth place. The Italian nearly lost out to fourth to Garrett Gerloff on the last lap, but the American ended up in fifth place.

Danilo Petrucci ended his weekend with very consistent results as he finished fifth once and sixth twice. Michael van der Mark finished in seventh place in Race Two as the third BMW rider inside the top ten.

Once again Iker Lecuona was the top Honda rider in the final race of the weekend at MotorLand Aragon. The Spanish rider finished in eighth place in Race Two, continuing his run of top-ten finishes.

The top Yamaha rider in Race Two was Andrea Locatelli who finished in ninth place. Rounding out the top ten was Xavi Vierge on the Honda.

Once again there were no British riders inside the top ten in Race Two. Scott Redding finished in 11th place, Jonathan Rea was in 13th, Bradley Ray crossed the line in 16th and Tarran Mackenzie finished in 18th.
