Nicolo Bulega will start from pole position for the third time in 2024, with his teammate Alvaro Bautista joining him on the front row.
Nicolo Bulega capitalised on the absence of Toprak Razgatlioglu at Magny-Cours and Cremona. However, now the Turkish rider is back Bulega needs to continue his strong form at MotorLand Aragon. The Italian rider continued his form from France and Italy as he secured pole position on Saturday morning.
In second place is Andrea Iannone on the Team GoEleven Ducati in the middle of the front row. The Italian rider had a big crash in Free Practice Three but put together a great Qualifying at MotorLand Aragon.
Completing the front row is the two-time World Superbike Champion, Alvaro Bautista. The 2022 and 2023 Champion has had terrible Qualifying sessions throughout 2024. However, a third-place start this weekend is his best result in a Qualifying session this season.
Just off the front row is Danilo Petrucci who will start in fourth place on the Barni Spark Ducati. The Italian won all three races last weekend at Cremona and could be chasing a fourth win in a row on Saturday afternoon.
The returning Razgatlioglu set the pace on Friday morning, but he has slowly fallen back into the pack. Despite this, the Turkish rider still managed to secure a fifth-place start at MotorLand Aragon, which is an incredible achievement.
The top Kawasaki rider on the grid is Alex Lowes who will start from the back of the second row in sixth. The British rider had a difficult session due to other riders on track, but he still managed to put together a competitive lap.
MotorLand Aragon has been a difficult circuit for Yamaha in World Superbikes and this Qualifying session showed this. The top Yamaha rider on Saturday morning was Andrea Locatelli down in seventh place on the grid.
In the middle of the third row is the fifth Ducati rider in the top ten, Sam Lowes. The British rider knows this circuit from his days in Moto2 and has been competitive throughout the weekend.
Honda is back inside the top ten as Iker Lecuona took his Team HRC machine to a ninth-place starting position.
Completing the top ten is the fastest man from Friday, Garret Gerloff. The Bonovo BMW rider could not match the front runners in Qualifying but was the second-fastest BMW rider.
