Yari Montella wins his sixth race of the 2024 World Supersport season at MotorLand Aragon.
Yari Montella has won his sixth World Supersport race of the 2024 season for the Barni Spark Racing Team. The Italian rider is second in the Championship with only four races left of the season, before he moves up to World Superbikes.
Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing rider Stefano Manzi went on to finish in second place behind Montella. The Italian rider secured a 1-2 finish for the Italian riders.
Completing the podium was another Ducati as Spanish rider Jorge Navarro finished in third place.
Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha rider Valentin Debise crossed the line in fourth place on his Yamaha R6. The French rider narrowly beat the current World Championship leader Adrian Huertas as he finished in fifth.
British rider Tom Booth-Amos went on to finish sixth place in the second race at MotorLand Aragon. Boot-Amos was also the top Triumph rider this weekend at Aragon.
The top MV Agusta rider this weekend was German rider Marcel Schroetter who finished in seventh place. Lucas Mahias finished just behind the German in eighth place on the GMT94 Yamaha.
Federico Caricasulo and Glenn van Straalen completed the top ten. Caricasulo finished in ninth place with van Straalen finishing in tenth.
