Toprak Razgatlioglu topped Free Practice One and Free Practice Two on Friday in the Czech Republic.
The opening day of the Czech Republic World Superbike Round saw Toprak Razgatlioglu take top spot. Razgatlioglu was on top in Free Practice One and Free Practice Two and started his weekend in the perfect way.
The Lowes brothers ended Friday in second and third place in Free Practice Two. Sam Lowes and the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team were in second, and Alex Lowes and the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team were in third.
The Aruba.it Racing - Duati squad ended the day in fourth and fifth place. Despite a heavy crash in the morning Nicolo Bulega ended the day in fourth, and Alvaro Bautista was in fifth on the factory Ducati.
Outside of the top five was Danilo Petrucci on the Barni Spark Racing Team machine. The Italian ended his day in sixth place on the independent Ducati.
Axel Bassani was able to put both Bimota riders into the top ten as he ended the day in seventh place on the KB998 Rimini.
Michael van der Mark was inside the top ten, but could not match his teammate. The Dutch rider was in eighth place on the timesheets, but was over half a second behind Razgatlioglu.
The top Yamaha at the end of the opening day was Andrea Locatelli who was in ninth place on the Pata Maxus Yamaha machine.
Completing the top ten was the top Honda rider for Xavi Vierge on the Team HRC Honda CBR1000RR-R.
