Czech Republic WorldSBK, Race One Results | Toprak Razgatlioglu takes victory in the opening race

Toprak Razgatlioglu claimed victory in the opening race of the weekend at the Autodrom Most.

After having to watch his title rival win all three races at Cremona, Toprak Razgatlioglu returned to the top step at the Autodrom Most. The Turkish rider won by six seconds and continued his dominant display in the Czech Republic.

Nicolo Bulega had to settle for second place, after failing to fight with Razgatlioglu in the opening laps, he was unable to keep up with the two-time Champion.

Danilo Petrucci returned to the podium on the Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati. The Italian started from third and managed to hold his position during the race and finished third.

Alex Lowes was able to take the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team to their best result of the season. The British rider finished in fourth place, but he was 14.814 seconds behind Razgatlioglu.

Alvaro Bautista came through the pack after getting caught up in a first-lap melee. The two-time Champion was at the back of the grid but finished in fifth.

Sam Lowes was not able to finish behind his brother after getting beaten by Bautista in the latter laps as he finished in sixth.

The factory Honda riders were able to finish in seventh and ninth in the opening race of the weekend. Iker Lecuona took seventh place and Xavi Vierge was able to cross the line in ninth.

World Superbike rookie, Yari Montella, equalled his best result in World Superbikes as he finished in eighth.

Completing the top ten was the top Yamaha rider of Jonathan Rea. After failing to score a point at Cremona, he expected points this weekend at Most.
