Completing an all-Italian podium was Danilo Petrucci on the Barni Spark Racing Ducati. The Italian rider was in a tough battle for the podium and ended up beating the reigning World Champion.

Toprak Razgatlioglu missed out on the podium after being beaten by Petrucci. The Turkish rider dropped back through the order and crossed the line in fourth.

Team HRC had a positive race at the TT Circuit Assen as they crossed the line in fifth and sixth. It was Iker Lecuona who finished in fifth as he narrowly beat his teammate Xavi Vierge.

The GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team were in seventh and eighth at the end of the race. Dominiquer Aegerter was in seventh and Remy Gardner was in eighth.

Three British riders scored points but missed out on the top ten as Alex Lowes was in 11th, Tarran Mackenzie battled his way to 12th, and Ryan Vickers finished in 15th. However, pole sitter Sam Lowes was taken out of the race while he was battling for the podium.
