In the final Free Practice session of the weekend, it was Nicolo Bulega who took top spot on the factory Ducati.
Nicolo Bulega continued his form from Friday afternoon as he set the pace in Free Practice Three, as he was 0.003 seconds away from Toprak Razgatlioglu's all-time lap record.
Toprak Razgatlioglu had to settle for second best in the final Practice session. However, the Turkish rider does look like he is Bulega's only real challenger this weekend.
Two-time World Champion, Alvaro Bautista, started day two in Misano in third place on the factory Ducati, but he was 0.462 seconds behind his teammate.
Axel Bassani was able to get the KB998 Rimini inside the top five as he finished in fourth on the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team machine.
Completing the top five was Sam Lowes, after not setting a lap time on Friday afternoon, the British rider bounced back with a fifth place in Free Practice Three.
The top Yamaha rider was Andrea Locatelli, who took the Pata Maxus Yamaha R1 to sixth place on Saturday morning.
It has been a difficult year for Garrett Gerloff and the Kawasaki WorldSBK Team, but he started his day in seventh place on the ZX-10RR.
Alex Lowes finished the final Practice session in eighth place on the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team KB998 Rimini.
With a new crew chief at his side, Dominique Aegerter has been back on form this weekend as he started the day in ninth.
Completing the top ten was Danilo Petrucci on the Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati, but he was 1.067 seconds behind Bulega.
