Emilia-Romagna WorldSBK, Superpole Results | Nicolo Bulega smashes the lap record at Misano

At Ducati's home circuit, Nicolo Bulega was able to obliterate the lap record as he claimed pole position at Misano.

Nicolo Bulega will start the Pirelli Emilia-Romagna World Superbike Round from pole position as he smashed the lap record at Ducati's home circuit. However, the Italian has been handed a three-place grid penalty for Race One for slow riding during Superpole.

Toprak Razgatlioglu was 0.238 seconds behind his main title rival as he qualified in second place on the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team.

The bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team will start from the front row of the grid as the Italian rider, Axel Bassani, qualified in third on the KB998 Rimini.

Sam Lowes will head the second row of the grid as he qualified in fourth on the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati.

Alongside his twin brother will be Alex Lowes on the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team as he qualified in fifth place on the KB998 Rimini.

The top Yamaha rider in qualifying was the GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK rider of Remy Gardner, who qualified in sixth place on the grid.

Andrea Iannone will provisionally start Race One from seventh place on the grid on the Team Pata GoEleven. However, he has been given a three-place grid penalty for Race One for slow riding on the racing line.

Andrea Locatelli will start from the middle of the third row at the Misano Worrld Circuit Marco Simoncelli as he qualified in eighth on the Yamaha R1.

The Barni Spark Racing Team completed the top ten as Danilo Petrucci qualified in ninth and Yari Montella was in tenth.
