For the first time as a bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team rider, Alex Lowes claimed three podiums in one race weekend as he finished in third in Race Two.

Alvaro Bautista did not feature on the podium at Magny-Cours, but after a terrible Race One and Superpole Race, the Spaniard finished fourth in Race Two.

Michael van der Mark completed a positive Sunday as he finished fifth in the Superpole Race and in Race Two at Magny-Cours.

Just outside of the top five was the six-time World Superbike Champion, Jonathan Rea. The Pata Maxus Yamaha rider finished the final race of the weekend in sixth place.

The top Honda rider in the final race of the weekend at Magny-Cours was the Team HRC rider, Xavi Vierge, who finished in seventh place.

For the first time this weekend, Danilo Petrucci, finished outside of the top five as he crossed the line in eighth on the Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati.

Completing the top ten were two Yamaha riders: the Pata Maxus Yamaha rider, Andrea Locatelli, finished in ninth place, and the GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team rider, Dominique Aegerter, finished in tenth.

Three British riders were outside of the top ten in Race Two: Tarran Mackenzie scored points in 14th place, but Ryan Vickers and Sam Lowes failed to finish the race.
