Toprak Razgatlioglu and the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team were on top of the timesheets in the first Practice session at Balaton Park.
In the opening World Superbike session at the Balaton Park Circuit, Toprak Razgatlioglu took top spot for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team as he had a margin of 0.404 seconds over the field.
Sam Lowes led a run of five Ducati riders as he ended the morning session in second place. After two DNF's and a podium at Donington Park, the British rider will be looking to bounce back in Hungary.
Andrea Iannone completed the top three on the timesheets. The Italian has been in a run of poor form and has a chance to turn it around at the new venue this weekend.
The factory Ducati riders of Alvaro Bautista and Nicolo Bulega ended the morning session in fourth and fifth place on the timesheets.
Outside of the top five was Danilo Petrucci, as he finished Free Practice One in sixth place for the Barni Spark Racing Team.
Alex Lowes had a positive showing on Friday morning as he and the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team started their weekend in seventh place.
Despite expressing his negative feelings towards the Balaton Park Circuit, Iker Lecuona was in eighth place on the Honda CBR1000RR-R.
Garrett Gerloff and the Kawasaki WorldSBK Team appear to have made a breakthrough as the American was back in the top ten, as he ended up in ninth.
Completing the top ten was the Motocorsa Racing Ducati rider, Ryan Vickers, the British rider had his best weekend of the season at Donington Park, but is still in search of a top ten race finish.
British riders, Jonathan Rea and Tarran Mackenzie, were outside of the top ten with Rea in 17th and Mackenzie in 21st.
