Toprak Razgatlioglu extends his winning streak to seven as he claimed victory in the opening race at the Balaton Park Circuit.
In the first World Superbike race at the Balaton Park Circuit, Toprak Razgatlioglu dominated proceedings as he claimed victory by 3.738 seconds and controlled the race from the front.
Nicolo Bulega came through from the second row of the grid and managed to claim a second-place finish, limiting the points that Razgatlioglu scored over him to five.
For the second race in a row, Alvaro Bautista featured on a World Superbike podium as he finished in third place at Balaton Park.
Despite being involved in the podium fight in the early stages of the race, Andrea Locatelli dropped back in the latter laps and finished in fourth place.
Danilo Petrucci had to start from the back of the grid after an earlier incident that caused the race to be red-flagged left him in the gravel. However, he fought through after the restart and finished in fifth place.
Just outside of the top five was the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team rider of Alex Lowes, the British rider had a poor qualifying but managed to finish in sixth place.
Yari Montella was the fourth Ducati rider to feature inside the top ten in Hungary as he finished in seventh on the Barni Spark Racing Team machine.
The top Honda in the opening race of the weekend was the Honda HRC rider of Xavi Vierge, who crossed the line in eighth place.
For the fifth race in a row, Garrett Gerloff and the Kawasaki WorldSBK Team featured inside the top ten as the American finished in ninth.
Completing the top ten was the second bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team rider of Axel Bassani.
British rider, Tarran Mackenzie, missed out on the top ten but scored points as he finished in 14th. However, both Sam Lowes and Jonathan Rea failed to finish the race after crashing out of the top ten.
