The 1000th World Superbike race was won by Toprak Razgatlioglu in the drying conditions around the Balaton Park Circuit.
On Sunday morning, it was Toprak Razgatlioglu who claimed victory in the Superpole Race and victory in the 1000th World Superbike race in the series' history.
After crashing out of second place on Saturday, Sam Lowes redeemed himself in the Superpole Race as he claimed his third podium of the year with a second-place finish on Sunday morning.
For the second time this weekend, Alvaro Bautista featured on the World Superbike podium as he crossed the line in third place.
Andrea Locatelli was able to hold onto fourth place for the Pata Maxus Yamaha squad as he battled hard with a rival from Honda.
It was Xavi Vierge who made Locatelli's life difficult as the Honda HRC rider crossed the line in fifth place, but was only 0.293 seconds behind the Italian.
Axel Bassani was the top bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team rider as he crossed the line in sixth place in the Superpole Race.
Ryan Vickers had his best result of his World Superbike career as the British rider crossed the line in seventh place for the Motocorsa Racing squad.
Tarran Mackenzie was able to secure his best World Superbike result as he finished in eighth place for the MGM Bonovo squad.
Completing the points scoring positions was the Pata Maxus Yamaha rider and six-time World Superbike Champion, Jonathan Rea.
British rider, Alex Lowes, missed out on the points as he picked the intermediate tyres, which struggled in the latter laps and he finished in 12th.
