The final World Superbike session on Friday saw Nicolo Bulega take top spot at the Cremona Circuit.
Nicolo Bulega ended the opening day of World Superbike Practice at Cremona at the top of the timesheets. The Italian rider was 0.215 seconds clear of the field at his home event of the 2025 World Superbike season.
Toprak Razgatlioglu ended the second session of the day in second place on the ROKiT BMW. The Turkish rider was Bulega's closest challenger, but he has not been as consistent as his title rival.
The top bimota rider was Axel Bassani on the KB998 Rimini from the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team. The Italian rider was 0.390 seconds off of Bulega's best lap time at the end of day one.
Andrea Locatelli was once again the top Yamaha rider as he ended the day in fourth place. The Italian rider was the third different Italian rider to feature inside the top five places.
Despite three crashes throughout Free Practice Two, Alvaro Bautista ended the session in fifth place. The Spaniard can pull out a lap, but was not consistent enough as he kept finding his way into the gravel.
Iker Lecuona was the top Honda rider at the end of day one as he put his Honda CBR1000RR-R into sixth place in Free Practice Two.
The Lowes twins ended the day in seventh and eighth places, with Sam Lowes in seventh and Alex Lowes in eighth.
Completing the top ten were the two independent Ducati riders of Andrea Iannone and Danilo Petrucci. Iannone was in ninth and Petrucci was in tenth at the end of the 45-minute session.
Four British riders ended the session outside of the top ten: Scott Redding was in 15th, Ryan Vickers was in 19th, Tarran Mackenzie was 20th and Jonathan Rea was down in 21st.
