For the second time this weekend, Nicolo Bulega took victory at the Italian World Superbike Round.
Nicolo Bulega continues his domination at the Cremona Circuit as he took his second win of the weekend. The Italian was untouchable in the Superpole Race at his home round of the 2025 World Superbike Championship.
Toprak Razgatlioglu had to settle for his third second place of the season as he could not make any move on Bulega. The BMW M1000RR was unable to fight with the Ducati Panigale V4R in Italy as he finished 1.456 seconds behind Bulega.
Alvaro Bautista claimed his eighth podium of the season but is still searching for his first win. The Aruba.it Racing - Ducati rider finished in third place but was 6.060 seconds behind Bulega.
Sam Lowes missed out on his second podium of the season as he finished in fourth place. The British rider was one second behind Bautista and 7.154 seconds behind Bulega at the chequered flag.
The top Honda rider was Xavi Vierge as he managed to take the Honda CBR1000RR-R into the top five. Vierge was in a lonely ride in fifth place as he settled into his rhythm but could not match the top four.
Danilo Petrucci and the Barni Spark Racing Team have improved their starting position for Race Two. Petrucci will start the final race of the weekend in sixth after finishing there in the Superpole Race.
The top Yamaha rider was Andrea Locatelli on the Pata Maxus Yamaha R1. The Italian rider has not been able to match his form from Assen, as he finished 12.627 seconds behind Bulega.
Andrea Iannone was in the fight for the top five, but after being given two long lap penalties for jumping the start, he finished in eighth place.
Michael van der Mark completed the point scoring positions as he crossed the line in ninth on the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK machine.
