Magny-Cours WorldSSP, Race Two Results | Yari Montella takes a crucial win, Tom Booth-Amos in fourth

Gold and Goose

Yari Montella won his fifth World Supersport race in the 2024 season as he continues to challenge for the title.

For the fifth time this season, Yari Montella is a World Supersport race winner. The Italian rider was in a tense battle with second place but in the end, he crossed the line victorious.

Stefano Manzi has not won a race since Catalunya and was so close at Magny-Cours. However, the Italian had to settle for second place just behind Montella.

The World Supersport Championship leader could not match Montella and Manzi's pace as he finished in third place.

The top Triumph rider was Tom Booth-Amos who finished in fourth place. He was only one place behind the podium but he was 11 seconds behind Huertas.

Jorge Navarro finished in fifth place on his Orelac Racing Verdnatura machine, with Glenn van Straalen in sixth place on the Ten Kate Yamaha.

The top Honda in World Supersport was Corentin Perolari. The French wildcard rider who has entered the French World Supersport round on a one-off has had a tremendous weekend.

The Race One winner at Magny-Cours, Niki Tuuli, finished in eighth place in Race Two. With Can Oncu in ninth place on the Kawasaki.

Completing the top ten was the only MV Agusta in the top ten, Marcel Schroetter.
