Toprak Razgatlioglu completes a clean sweep at Portimao as he walks away with all three victories.
So far at Portimao, everything had been going Toprak Razgatlioglu's way as he had won the opening two races. With a record-breaking 12 consecutive wins, Razgatlioglu was chasing 13 wins in a row.
The Turkish rider now has 13 race wins in a row, and has claimed his fourth weekend of triple wins. Razgatlioglu was run closer in Race Two by the Ducati riders but ultimately the Championship leader has extended his lead in the standings.
Nicolo Bulega finished second best in Race Two behind the BMW. The WorldSBK rookie was only 0.035 seconds behind Razgatlioglu as he crossed the line. After missing out on Free Practice One Bulega finally claimed a podium in the final race.
For the second time this weekend, Alex Lowes made his way back onto the podium. The British rider still has not won since Australia but has put together an incredible season so far.
Despite never racing at Portimao before Andrea Iannone finished in fourth place in the final race of the weekend. Just behind Iannone was fellow Ducati rider, Danilo Petrucci in fifth place.
Michael van der Mark led a WorldSBK race for the first time since he won at Portimao. However, the Dutch rider fell back through the order and finished in sixth place.
The top Yamaha rider was Jonathan Rea. The British rider missed out on the points in the Superpole Race and suffered a technical issue in the opening race but finished seventh place in the final race of the weekend.
Garrett Gerloff was the third and final BMW inside the top ten. The American rider had a terrible start but made his way back through the order to finish in eighth.
Honda is back in the top ten with Xavi Vierge finishing in ninth place. Finally, Dominique Aegerter rounded out the top ten as he crossed the line in tenth.
British riders Scott Redding and Bradley Ray finished outside of the top ten as Redding finished in 14th and Ray in 18th.
The reigning World Champion, Alvaro Bautista, picked up no points in Race Two as he crashed chasing Razgatlioglu and finished in 19th.
