The opening race of the weekend at the final round of the World Superbike Championship was dominated by Nicolo Bulega as he claimed victory by 3.766 seconds.

Taking his 19th podium of the 2025 World Superbike season was the two-time Champion, Alvaro Bautista, who crossed the line in Race One in third place.

Despite fighting for the podium, the best that Andrea Iannone could manage in the opening race of the weekend was a fourth-place finish for the Team Pata GoEleven squad.

Rounding out the top five was the top Honda rider, Xavi Vierge. The Spaniard has two more races left with the Japanese manufacturer, but has been in strong form at Jerez.

Despite his front row start, Alex Lowes could not make his way onto the podium as the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team rider could only manage a sixth-place finish.

The top Yamaha in the opening race of the weekend was the Pata Maxus Yamaha rider, Andrea Locatelli, who managed a seventh-place finish.

Remy Gardner was able to hold onto an eighth-place finish in Race One for the GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team.

British rider, Tarran Mackenzie, was back inside the top ten on the MGM Bonovo Ducati as he finished Race One in ninth place.

Completing the top ten was the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team rider, Michael van der Mark.
