Marco Bezzecchi set a new all time lap record around Misano this afternoon as he claimed top spot in the Practice session to end Fridays track time.
The Italian rider who races for the Mooney VR46 Racing Team set a late lap time to take himself to the top of the time sheets.
The only other rider to set a lap time in the 1 minute 30's was Aprilia Racing rider, Maverick Vinales. Heading into the final time attack the Spanish rider was on top of the time sheets, but could not match Bezzecchi's improved pace.
In third place was the KTM test rider and ultimate super sub, Dani Pedrosa. With some new aero on the rear swingarm of his bike the little Spaniard was setting an impressive pace on Friday.
Jorge Martin and Luca Marini added two extra Ducati riders to the top ten as they finished the afternoon in fourth and fifth. Only two other Ducati riders found themselves inside the top ten as Francesco Bagnaia and Alex Marquez finished seventh and eighth.
Marc Marquez found his way into the top ten at Misano after following Dani Pedrosa for a fast lap time that placed him sixth overall.
A KTM and an Aprilia rounded out the top ten with Brad Binder in ninth place and Raul Fernandez made their way directly into Q2 for tomorrow.
