David Alonso puts on a dominant show in Thailand as the Colombian rider sets the pace on Friday.
The Moto3 World Champion ends Friday on top in Thailand. David Alonso sets the pace as he sets a lap time that is 0.3 seconds quicker than any other rider. The Colombian looks set for another dominant weekend in the latter stages of the 2024 season.
A week after his home Grand Prix, Joel Kelso continues to set a good pace. The BOE Motorsports rider was the closest rider to Alonso, ending Day One in second place.
In Australia, Adrian Fernandez claimed his third podium in a row and the Spaniard is back at the front. The Leopard Racing rider ended Practice One in third place on his Honda.
Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 rider, Daniel Holgado, ended the session in fourth place. The Spaniard returned to the podium at Phillip Island when he finished in second place.
Collin Veijer had a tough race last week, finishing 18th at Phillip Island. However, the Dutch rider was back on the pace in Thailand, ending Friday in fifth place.
Moto3 rookie, Luca Lunetta, continues to impress as he ends Day One in Thailand in sixth place.
MT Helmets - MSi rider, Ivan Ortola, has claimed pole position in the last three Grand Prix. However, the Spaniard has not claimed points since Indonesia. The Spaniard started his weekend off in Thailand well, finishing seventh place on Friday.
David Almansa ended his day in eighth place on the Kopron Rivacold Snipers Team.
Jose Antonio Rueda put his Red Bull KTM Ajo rider in the top ten as he finished in ninth place. Completing the top ten was Angel Piqueras on the Leopard Racing Honda.
British riders Scott Ogden and Eddie O'Shea ended up in 13th and 25th places.
