Moto3 Barcelona, Qualifying Results: Alonso claims his seventh pole position of the season

David Alonso continues to dominate the Moto3 Championship as he secured his seventh pole position of the season.

For the seventh time in the 2024 Moto3 season, David Alonso has claimed pole position. The Colombian rider has been on a different level this year and could win his 14th race of the season on Sunday.

Collin Veijer is in the hunt for second in the Moto3 World Championship and starting from second place for the final race of the season will be a big help for the Dutch rider.

MT Helmets - MSi rider, Ivan Ortola, will start his final Moto3 race from third place before he moves to Moto2 in 2024.

The top Honda in Moto3 qualifying was Angel Piqueras on the Leopard Racing machine. The Spaniard will leave the team after this weekend and will switch to the MT Helmets - MSi squad.

Daniel Holgado is fighting with Veijer for second place in the standings and he will start directly behind Veijer on the grid after he qualified in fifth.

Luca Lunetta has continued his progression this weekend after qualifying in sixth place for the Solidarity Grand Prix.

At the head of the third row is Adrian Fernandez on the Leopard Racing Honda. The Spaniard will start from seventh for the final race of the year.

Japanese rider, Taiyo Furusato, qualified in eighth place for Honda Team Asia at the Solidarity Grand Prix.

Jacob Roulstone will start his final Moto3 race as a rookie in ninth place on the Red Bull GASGAS Tech3.

Tatsuki Suzuki completed the top ten on the Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP.
