After six Sprint Races, Marc Marquez remains unbeaten on a Saturday as he returned to the top step at Le Mans.
Marc Marquez was back on top of the Sprint Race podium at the French Grand Prix. The Spaniard disposed of the pole sitter and went on to win his sixth Sprint Race of the season.
Alex Marquez took another second place and completed the sixth Marquez 1-2 of the season. The Spaniard was 0.530 seconds behind his brother across the line, but will want to fight for victory on Sunday.
Fermin Aldeguer claimed his first Sprint podium in his MotoGP career as he finished in third place. The Spaniard completed a Ducati podium lockout and a Gresini Racing 2-3.
Pole sitter and home hero, Fabio Quartararo, was not able to convert his grid position into a podium. The Frenchman was beaten up by the Ducati riders in the latter laps and had to settle for fourth.
The top KTM rider was Maverick Vinales across the line as he finished in fifth place on the Red Bull KTM Tech3 machine.
Johann Zarco was the top Honda rider at his home Grand Prix as he put his LCR Honda Castrol in sixth place across the line.
Fabio di Giannantonio was able to recover after a poor start and managed to cross the line in seventh place on the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team machine.
Alex Rins claimed points in a Sprint Race for the first time this season as he finished in eighth place. All eyes were on his teammate, but Rins went under the radar and scored two points.
Joan Mir was back inside the points as he claimed the final point in the Sprint Race as he crossed the line in ninth place n the Honda HRC Castrol.
