Results from Race 1 at the 2026 Donington Park BSB, the fourth race of the 2026 season.

Scott Redding took victory in BSB Race 1 at Donington, beating Max Cook by under a second as the race was shortened by one lap due to rainfall.

The rain started to fall mid-race, but it only became heavy enough to stop the race as the leaders entered the final lap.

Redding had taken the lead on the penultimate lap from Kyle Ryde, who then ran on at the Melbourne Hairpin and put his arm up suggesting the race should be red flagged, which it was by the start of the next lap.

The two Ducati riders, as well as Bimota's Cook, had broken away from the rest of the field by over 10 seconds by the time the race was stopped, so they were the only ones to be classified on the lead lap.

Cook ended up taking second, behind Redding, having passed Ryde when the championship leader ran wide at the penultimate corner on lap 19, the Bimota rider securing his first podium of the season.

Leon Haslam won out in a multi-rider battle for fourth, beating the Yamahas of Christian Iddon, Rory Skinner, and Bradley Ray.

Storm Stacey, Danny Kent, and Lee Jackson completed the top-10.

Qualifying

Kyle Ryde took his second consecutive BSB pole at Donington, beating Max Cook in a session that saw the lap record beaten by half-a-second.

Scott Redding completed the top-three ahead of Leon Haslam, Danny Kent, and Storm Stacey who will start from row two.

Bradley Ray could only manage seventh and will start alongside Glenn Irwin and Rory Skinner on the third row.

Andrew Irwin completed the top-10 in qualifying and will line-up alongside Ryan Vickers and Christian Iddon on row four.
