Bimota reveals 2026 BSB livery ahead of Oulton Park opener

Kawasaki UK

The Bimota KB998 will make its debut in BSB this weekend at Oulton Park, and its livery for this season has been revealed ahead of round one.

The newly revealed livery combines the black of title sponsor AJN Steelstock, Bimmota’s red and white, and the green of Kawasaki, which owns 49 per cent of Bimota.

“The new Bimota KB998 Rimini Superbikes are stunning, and machines of this quality need an equally striking livery, which I think we have achieved with our 2026 colours,” said Nigel Snook, AJN Steelstock Bimota team owner.

“Echoing the Bimota heritage through visual impact was very important to us, alongside ensuring the strong link between Bimota and Kawasaki is represented. I can’t wait to see Max [Cook] and Joe [Talbot] on track this weekend.”

The KB998 has already completed one season of racing in WorldSBK, in which Alex Lowes took the bike’s best result with four third places across the season – one at Misano, and three at Magny-Cours. In 2026, Axel Bassani improved on that by taking second in the Superpole Race and Race 2 at Phillip Island.

In BSB this year, the bike will be ridden by Max Cook and Joe Talbot, the latter stepping into the championship as a rookie after competing in the British Supersport Championship.

Cook was fastest at the first official preseason test and fourth at Oulton Park. Talbot was 10th at Donington and ended his Oulton Park test early when he crashed at turn one in the second of three sessions on day two, and was taken to hospital.

The 2026 BSB season begins this weekend (2–4 May) at Oulton Park.
