Kyle Ryde takes victory in the opening race of the weekend at Cadwell Park ahead of both the MasterMac Honda riders.
It was the injured Jason O'Halloran who put his Kawasaki in pole position at Cadwell Park. He started ahead of Kyle Ryde and Charlie Nesbitt who completed the front row.
After starting from second place it was Kyle Ryde who dominated the race. Once Ryde got his OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing machine into the lead he did not look back as he claimed his first-ever win at Cadwell Park.
Behind Ryde was a MasterMac Honda 2-3 finish. The home hero of Lee Jackson went from fourth on the grid to second place on the podium. Just behind Jackson was his teammate Charlie Nesbitt who finished second place to claim his first podium of the year.
After battling hard it was Tommy Bridewell who came through the pack and finished in fourth place. The Championship leader started in 12th place but put in a Champions ride at Cadwell Park.
Glenn Irwin battled hard with Bridewell but in the end, finished in fifth place. It had been a difficult weekend for Irwin but it seemingly clicked today for the Hager PBM Ducati rider.
Despite starting from pole it was not smooth sailing for O'Halloran. The Australian was battling for the win but as expected fatigue kicked in and he dropped back to sixth place.
The battle for second was between two former BSB Champions as Josh Brookes and Leon Haslam went head to head. The FHO BMW of Brookes finished in seventh and the ROKiT Haslam Racing BMW of Haslam finished in eighth.
Billy McConnell has carried his form from Thruxton to Cadwell Park. The Australian was inside the top ten yet again as he finished in ninth.
Rounding out the top ten was the DAO Racing Kawasaki rider, Danny Buchan in tenth.
It was a disastrous day for Ryan Vickers. The man who had dominated all the weekend crashed in Qualifying and then suffered a mechanical issue during the race.
