Charlie Nesbitt had a perfect Friday at Oulton Park as he ended both Practice sessions in first place.
The MasterMac Honda Team have carried their Cadwell Park momentum to Oulton Park. The opening Practice session was topped by the team and then the afternoon Practice session saw them on top again.
Charlie Nesbitt continues to top the British Superbike timesheets at Oulton Park. After taking his first podium of the year at Cadwell Park Nesbitt topped the Friday Practice sessions at Oulton Park.
In second place was the FHO Racing rider, Josh Brookes. The Australian rider snuck into second place late in the session and had a great start to his weekend.
Third place was the other MasterMac Honda rider of Lee Jackson. Before the final time attacks Jackson found himself at the top of the order. However, he slipped back to third before the chequered flag was shown.
The top Yamaha at the end of Friday was Kyle Ryde as he finished Friday in fourth place. The OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing rider is in the hunt for a BSB title and needs positive results this weekend.
The two Ducati riders Glenn Irwin and Christian Iddon ended the day in fifth and sixth places. Just like Ryde, these two riders could do with a positive weekend as they sit third and fourth in the Championship.
In seventh and eighth places were the other two Yamaha riders Danny Kent and Ryan Vickers. Kent moved up the order in the afternoon as he ended the morning in ninth place. However, Vickers' session ended in disaster as he stopped on track with a mechanical issue.
Leon Haslam could not improve as much as everyone else did in the afternoon session. The BSB veteran ended Free Practice One in third place but ended the day down in ninth.
Completing the top ten was the DAO Racing Kawasaki rider Danny Buchan. After a positive weekend at Cadwell Park 'Boom Boom Buchan' has carried his momentum to Oulton Park.
Just inside the automatic Qualifying Two spots was Tommy Bridewell in 12th place. The Honda Racing UK rider is usually on a different level at Oulton Park, but he has had a tough start to the weekend.
