In an interrupted race Kyle Ryde went on to take his second victory this weekend in mixed conditions.
The Oulton Park weekend has produced a dramatic start to the British Superbike Showdown. Race One saw Tommy Bridewell crash and Kyle Ryde win the race. Race Two saw wet weather and Glenn Irwin won the race. The final race of the weekend was red-flagged and restarted in mixed conditions.
For the second time this weekend, it was Ryde who was victorious in the mixed conditions. After struggling in Race Two the OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing rider needed a strong end to his weekend. He may have lost the lead of the Championship but he is still in the title hunt.
For the first time this weekend, Tommy Bridewell is on the podium. The Honda Racing UK has struggled since Friday at Oulton Park but a second place and retaining his Championship lead is a positive weekend for Bridewell.
After leading the race before the Red Flag stoppage Storm Stacey slid back down the order to third place. The LKQ Euro Car Parts Kawasaki rider was still on the podium in the mixed conditions.
In fourth place was Max Cook after a late charge in Race Three. The young Completely Motorbikes Kawasaki rider put together a strong race result to end his weekend.
Just across the line, Danny Kent managed to hold onto fifth place by 0.006 seconds from Christian Iddon in sixth.
MasterMac Honda rider Lee Jackson finished in seventh place ahead of the Honda Racing UK rider Andrew Irwin.
In ninth place was the Hager PBM Ducati rider Glenn Irwin who dropped back throughout the race.
Completing the top ten was Josh Brookes who only made it out onto the grid for the Warm-Up lap after his FHO Racing crew worked hard to fix his BMW.
