The 2024 British Superbike season marked Charlie Nesbitt's second season in the class. The British rider remained with the MasterMac by Hawk Racing squad after debuting with the team in 2023.
Charlie Nesbitt made progress during his second season in British Superbikes. However, after an impressive rookie year in 2023, Nesbitt had already confirmed himself as a BSB front-runner.
The 23-year-old was the fourth Honda rider in the Championship after an impressive year for the Japanese manufacturer. But after completing the majority of the year on the 2023 Honda CBR1000RR-R his achievements are even more impressive.
Across the 32 British Superbike races in the 2024 season, Charlie Nesbitt stood on one podium. But his season was made by his consistency as he only failed to finish in seven races. But in the 25 races he finished he was always inside the point-scoring positions.
Nesbitt claimed six top-five positions and a further 14 top-ten finishes, meaning he was outside the top ten on five occasions. At the end of the year, Nesbitt was three points behind Honda Racing UK rider, Andrew Irwin, who ended the season in tenth.
Currently, Nesbitt's British Superbike future is unknown as he has not announced his 2025 plans as of yet. But it would seem likely that he will remain within the Hawk Racing family for a third year in British Superbikes.
