Honda Racing UK have confirmed that Andrew Irwin is still out injured, so Tom Neave will be their only rider on track at the fourth round of the British Superbike Championship.

After a crash at a private Knockhill test at the end of May Andrew Irwin is still on the sidelines for the fourth round of the 2023 British Superbike Championship.

Tom Neave will arrive in Scotland with the expectations of the team on his shoulders this weekend. Neave got his first top ten of the season last time out at Donington Park and is looking to add to his tally at Knockhill.

"I really like Knockhill, it is a proper rider's track," said Neave ahead of this weekends racing. "you've got to get your elbows out and I’ve gone really well there in previous years in some of the other classes. In my championship year for Honda, I managed to get a fourth and a fifth there too after coming back from a knee injury.

"I’m hoping to continue the momentum that I’ve built over the previous rounds into this one and get some more top-tens. My confidence is growing and we are taking steps, they might be baby steps but it's coming.
