Moto2 Thailand, Race Results: Gonzalez wins his debut race with Intact GP

Manuel Gonzalez was on fire at the Thai Grand Prix as he won his first race for the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP squad.

After securing pole on Saturday, Manuel Gonzalez walks away with victory on Sunday. The Spaniard was on a different level at the Thai Grand Prix as he won the race by 2.6 seconds.

Aron Canet could not match the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP rider and came home in second. The Spaniards will likely battle for the title throughout the year and have started their seasons in the right way.

Australian rider, Senna Agius, was involved in a controversial move on Celeastino Vietti, but he did secure a third place finish and claimed his first rostrum of the season.

Diogo Moreira did not live up to expectations on the Italtrans Racing Team machine. The Brazilian crossed the line in fourth after topping the Friday Practice sessions in Thailand.

The OnlyFans American Racing Team rider, Marcos Ramirez, finished the opening race of the season in fifth. The Spaniard was 9.5 seconds behind the race leader, but still secured good Championship points.

Barry Baltus started his year with sixth place in the Fantic Racing LINO SONEGO team. The Belgian had a promising start in 2024 but fell away throughout the year, 2025 will be a crucial year for him.

The ELF Marc VDS Racing Team ended their weekend in Thailand with 7th and 9th place finishes. The team's debut with Boscoscuro saw Jake Dixon cross the line in seventh and Filip Salac finish in ninth.

Daniel Holgado had a surprising start to his Moto2 career as he ended the day in eighth place.

Alonso Lopez completed the top ten on the SpeedUp Racing Boscoscuro machine.
