David Alonso is proving his worth as the Moto3 World Champion as he wins his fourth Grand Prix in a row.
For the fourth weekend in a row, David Alonso ran away with the Moto3 Grand Prix. After winning in Misano, Indonesia and Japan Alonso has extended his winning streak to Australia.
Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 rider, Daniel Holgado, fought hard on the last lap as he went on to finish in second place.
The top Honda in the Australian Grand Prix was Adrian Fernandez who completed the podium in third place.
Just off of the podium were Stefano Nepa and David Munoz. The two KTM riders were involved in a battle with Holgado and Fernandez but had to settle for fourth and fifth.
Sixth and seventh places were secured by the Japanese rider, Ryusei Yamanaka and Taiyo Furusato. The MT Helmets - MSi and Honda Team Asia rider secured strong results in the top ten.
Moto3 rookie, Luca Lunetta, ventured to Phillip Island for the first time this weekend. The Italian put together a great rookie weekend as he finished in eighth place in the Australian Grand Prix.
Jose Antonio Rueda and Angel Piqueras completed the top ten. The two Spanish riders finished the Australian Grand Prix in ninth and tenth place, respectively.
British riders Eddie O'Shea and Scott Ogden finished in 19th and 22nd places.
