Moto3 Austria, Qualifying: Ortola takes pole position, Kelso and Veijer on the front row, Ogden was taken out in Q1

Ivan Ortola will start the Austrian Grand Prix from pole position. British rider, Scott Ogden, was taken out by a fellow rider in Q1.

Ivan Ortola is on a roll at the moment in Moto3 as he continues his strong form. After winning at Silverstone the Spanish rider is now on pole at the Red Bull Ring.

Despite a late crash in Qualifying, Joel Kelso is back on the front row of the grid. The Australian rider will start from second place.

Colin Veijer will complete the front row as the Dutch rider will start from third place in Sunday's Grand Prix.

Two Spaniards will start from the front of the second row Daniel Holgado and Jose Antonio Rueda will start from fourth and fifth places on the grid.

Championship leader David Alonso will start the Austrian Grand Prix from down in sixth place.

The top Honda rider on the Moto3 grid for the Austrian Grand Prix is Matteo Bertelle who starts from seventh. Leopard Racing Honda rider, Anguel Piqueras will start just behind Bertelle in eighth place.

Rounding out the top ten on the grid is David Munoz in ninth place and Ryusei Yamanaka in tenth place.

Scott Ogden did not get to set a lap time in the first Qualifying session. The British rider was taken out by Filippo Farioli on his first flying lap.
