Angel Piqueras sets the pace on Friday morning in the 2024 Moto3 season finale at the Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya.
In his final Grand Prix weekend with Leopard Racing, Angel Piqueras started Friday off in the best way. The Spanish rider set the pace in Free Practice as he lapped 0.410 seconds quicker than any other rider at the Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya.
BOE Motorsports had a solid Free Practice session at the Solidarity Grand Prix. David Munoz was leading the way until the latter moments, but he still finished in second place.
The 2024 Moto3 World Champion, David Alonso, ended Friday morning in third place on his final Moto3 Grand Prix weekend.
Joel Kelso was the second BOE Motorsports rider inside the top five in Free Practice. The Australian rider finished in fourth place on his KTM Moto3 machine.
Completing the top five was Scott Ogden in fifth place. The British rider will leave MLav Racing at the end of the weekend and would love to end his season with a great result.
Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 rider, Dani Holgado, ended Friday morning in fifth place. The Spaniard is in the hunt for second place in the Championship and ended the opening session ahead of his rival.
Ryusei Yamanaka will continue with the MT Helmets - MSi squad in 2025 and wants to end his 2024 season on a high. The Japanese rider started the Solidarity Grand Prix in seventh place.
The top Red Bull KTM Ajo rider on Friday morning was Jose Antonio Rueda. The Spaniard has two teammates this weekend but was the top Ajo rider as he finished in eighth.
Collin Veijer is fighting with Holgado for second place in the Championship. However, the Dutch rider ended Friday morning in ninth, compared to Holgado's sixth.
Moto3 rookie, Jacob Roulstone, ended Friday morning in tenth place on the Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 machine.
