Moto3 Malaysia, Practice One Results: Alonso continues his domination in Moto3, Ogden ends Day One in ninth

David Alonso continues to dominate the Moto3 Championship as he ends Friday on top in Malaysia.

The 2024 Moto3 World Champion continues his domination of the Moto3 class on his CFMOTO. David Alonso ended Friday on top in Malaysia as he is hunting for his 13th win of the 2024 season.

After a late crash in Thailand Adrian Fernandez will want to bounce back in Malaysia. The Spaniard was on for a podium in the last Grand Prix to extend his run of podiums to four Grands Prix in a row.

Taiyo Furusato finished fifth in Thailand after crashing on the finish line at the Chang International Circuit. The Japanese rider has not stood on the podium since the German Grand Prix and could be on for a podium battle in Sepang.

Fellow Japanese rider, Ryusei Yamanaka, made his way into fourth place on Friday with the MT Helmets - MSi squad. Yamanaka has also not seen a rostrum since his podium at the Italian Grand Prix.

Collin Veijer is still in the hunt for second place in the Moto3 World Championship. The Dutch rider finished fifth in Malaysia and has winning potential in Sepang after winning at the circuit in 2023.

Red Bull KTM Ajo rider, Jose Antonio Rueda, made his way back into the top ten on Friday in Malaysia. The Spaniards form has dropped off since his win in Aragon but had a promising start at Sepang.

The Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 riders finished inside the top ten with Daniel Holgado and Jacob Roulstone in seventh and eighth.

Off the back of his eighth-place finish in Thailand Scott Ogden continued his form in Malaysia. The British rider ended Day One in ninth place on his FleetSafe AI - MLav Racing Honda.

Completing the top ten on Friday was Tatsuki Suzuki on the Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP.
