Who will be working alongside each MotoGP rider as their crew chief for the 2025 season?
After the 2025 MotoGP grid saw a rather large shakeup some riders will also be working with a new crew chief as well as a new team or manufacturer this season.
Here are the crew chief and rider partnerships for the 2025 MotoGP season:
Ducati:
Ducati Lenovo Team:
Francesco Bagnaia - Cristian Gabarrini
Marc Marquez - Marco Rigamonti
For 2025 Francesco Bagnaia and Cristian Gabarrini will continue their successful partnership. The Italians have won two MotoGP World Championships together and are aiming for a third in 2025.
With his arrival to the factory Ducati squad, Marc Marquez will be paired with a new crew chief. The Spaniard will work with Marco Rigamonti, who will become his third crew chief in the last three years.
Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team:
Fabio di Giannantonio - Massimo Branchini
Franco Morbidelli - Matteo Flamigni
Despite going into his second year in the VR46 Racing Team, Fabio di Giannantonio will have a new crew chief for 2025. The Italian will be partnered with Massimo Branchini, who will be his fourth different crew chief in the last four years.
Franco Morbidelli will inherit Marco Bezzecchi's crew chief, Matteo Flamigni. The Italian has been a long-term name in the VR46 camp after he worked with Valentino Rossi as a telemetrist.
Gresini Racing:
Alex Marquez - Donatello Giovanotti
Fermin Aldeguer - Frankie Carchedi
Alex Marquez will remain with the Gresini Racing Team and will not have a new crew chief in 2025. The Spaniard will continue to work with Donatello Giovanotti.
Fermin Aldeguer will work with Marc Marquez's former crew chief, Frankie Carchedi in his rookie MotoGP season.
KTM:
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team:
Brad Binder - Andres Madrid
Pedro Acosta - Paul Trevathan
There will be no change on Brad Binder's side of the garage as he continues his partnership with Andres Madrid.
Pedro Acosta will arrive in the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team with his crew chief from the 2024 season. Paul Trevathan will follow Acosta from Tech3 to the factory KTM garage.
Red Bull KTM Tech3:
Enea Bastianini - Alberto Giribuola
Maverick Vinales - Manuel Cazeaux
Enea Bastianini will be reunited with his former Gresini Racing crew chief, Alberto Giribuola, at Red Bull KTM Tech3.
On the other side of the garage, Maverick Vinales will bring Manuel Cazeaux with him from Aprilia.
Aprilia:
Aprilia Racing:
Jorge Martin - Daniele Romagnoli
Marco Bezzecchi - Francesco Venturato
The reigning MotoGP World Champion, Jorge Martin, has moved from the Pramac Racing Team to Aprilia Racing with his crew chief Daniele Romagnoli.
Marco Bezzecchi will work with a new crew chief in 2025 as he will join forces with Francesco Venturato, who was Maverick Vinales' performance engineer.
Trackhouse Racing:
Raul Fernandez - Noe Herrera
Ai Ogura - Giovanni Mattarollo
In the Trackhouse Racing garage, Raul Fernandez will continue to work with Noe Herrera.
Whereas MotoGP rookie, Ai Ogura, will work with Miguel Oliveira's former crew chief, Giovanni Mattarollo.
Yamaha:
Monster Energy Yamaha:
Fabio Quartararo - Diego Gubellini
Alex Rins - David Munoz
The long-term relationship between Fabio Quartararo and Diego Gubellini will continue into 2025. The duo have worked together since the Frenchman made his MotoGP debut in 2019.
Alex Rins will begin to work with Valentino Rossi's former crew chief, David Munoz.
Prima Pramac Racing:
Jack Miller - Giacomo Guidotti
Miguel Oliveira - Luca Ferracioli
With Jack Miller's return to the Pramac Racing garage, he will work with a new crew chief. The Australian will work alongside Giacomo Guidotti, who left Honda at the end of 2024.
Miguel Oliveira will also work with a new crew chief this season as he will work with Luca Ferracioli.
Honda:
Honda Factory Racing:
Joan Mir - Santi Hernandez
Luca Marini - Christian Pupulin
Marc Marquez's former Honda crew chief, Santi Hernandez, will continue to work with Joan Mir in 2025.
Luca Marini will get Jack Miller's former KTM crew chief, Christian Pupulin for this season. Marini and Miller have done a crew chief swap as Miller will have Marini's former crew chief.
LCR:
Johann Zarco - David Garcia
Somkiat Chantra - Klaus Nohles
For his second year with LCR, Johann Zarco will continue with David Garcia.
MotoGP rookie, Somkiat Chantra, will work with Takaaki Nakagami's former crew chief, Klaus Nohles.
