Luke Mossey will make his first British Superbike Championship appearance at this weekend’s Donington BSB.
The former BSB race winner will fill-in for Tom Neave at the Stauff Fluid Power Kawasaki team, part of the GR Motorsports setup.
On the announcement of his ride for the Donington BSB, Mossey told Britishsuperbike.com: “I can’t wait to get back on track this weekend, especially with such a well-established and professional team as GR Motosport. I was with Kawasaki for five years and it is a bike that I wanted to get back on if there was ever the opportunity as I had always had a good experience with it.
“Now here is my chance at Donington Park, which is a circuit that has always come naturally to me and I have had quite a bit of success there - I have finished on the podium in every class I have raced in at that track.”

Mossey was originally set to ride for the L1 Racing (formerly PR Racing) team this year, but the team has not started the season.
“After not being on the grid so far this season, this weekend can’t come soon enough and I need to thank Brent and everyone at Stauff Fluid Power Kawasaki for getting me back out at Donington Park,” Mossey said.
Tom Neave continues to recover from injuries he sustained at the first round, the Navarra BSB. At round two in Oulton Park, Neave was replaced by Eemeli Lahti.
Team Owner Brent Gladwin said: “Tom is still on the road to recovery and although things are progressing very well we are not there just yet. After a discussion between Iain Stansbie of Stauff UK, Tom, and myself we decided to look for a substitute to race the Stauff Fluid Power Kawasaki ZX-10RR Superbike for this weekend’s races, and who better at Donington Park than Luke Mossey?
“Luke has great experience on the ZX-10 and has had some great results at Donington Park. Luke will be working with my Team who are new to him, but I feel he will quickly settle in and enjoy a good weekend’s racing.”
