In the wet conditions, Francesco Bagnaia dominated the Thai Grand Prix as he clawed back points to his title rival.
Francesco Bagnaia takes his ninth win of the 2024 MotoGP World Championship. This is the most wins that the Italian has taken in a single MotoGP season. Bagnaia has cut his gap in the Championship down to 17 points.
After leading early on Jorge Martin finished the Thai Grand Prix in second place. The Prima Pramac Racing rider was three seconds behind Bagnaia but put together a damage-limitation ride.
For the first time since Indonesia Pedro Acosta has finished a race and returned to a podium. The Spaniard has crashed out of the last five races but finished in third on Sunday in Thailand.
The Thai Grand Prix is Fabio di Giannantonio's final race of the 2024 season. The Italian rider will undergo surgery after the race this weekend. However, di Giannantonio finished the Thai Grand Prix in fourth place.
The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing riders Jack Miller and Brad Binder finished in fifth and sixth. Miller equalled his best result of the season with a fifth place after losing out on a podium.
The top Aprilia on Sunday was Maverick Vinales in seventh place in the Thai Grand Prix.
Johann Zarco was able to put his LCR Honda Castrol machine inside the top ten on Sunday. The French rider finished the Thai Grand Prix in eighth place.
After struggling in the dry, the wet conditions aided Aleix Espargaro on Sunday. The Spaniard crossed the line in ninth place to put both factory Aprilia riders inside the top ten.
After crashing on the sighting lap Alex Marquez turned his race around and completed the top ten on his Gesini Racing Ducati.
