Gold & Goose

It was a familiar tale in Argentina as Marc Marquez ended Free Practice One in first place.

Marc Marquez's clean sweep continues as he ends Free Practice One in Argentina on top of the timesheets. The Spaniard was once again the dominant force on Friday morning and could be difficult to stop.

Johann Zarco was the surprise result in Free Practice One as he put his Honda RC213V in second place. The Frenchman has had great results in Argentina in the past and could get his best Honda result this weekend.

Alex Marquez is once again at the front as he ended the opening session in third place. The BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider was the Ducati GP24 front runner again.

The VR46 Racing Academy riders locked out fourth, fifth and sixth on the timesheets. Franco Morbidelli was in fourth on the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team machine.

In fifth was Marco Bezzecchi on the factory Aprilia RS-GP, he was 0.001 seconds ahead of the Honda HRC Castrol rider, Luca Marini.

The top Yamaha was Jack Miller on the Prima Pramac Yamaha Factory Racing machine. The Australian rider loves Termas de Rio Hondo and is in the hunt for a solid result this weekend.

The top KTM was Maverick Vinales on the Red Bull KTM Tech3 RC16. The Spaniard had a terrible time in Thailand but looked more promising in Free Practice One in Argentina.

Joan Mir was the third Honda rider inside the top ten as he ended the session in ninth place.

Completing the top ten was Pedro Acosta on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machine.
