Manuel Gonzalez topped both Practice sessions across the opening day in Argentina.
Manuel Gonzalez topped Free Practice One on Friday morning and then the Practice session on Friday afternoon. The Spaniard has been a dominant force in the early stages of the season and looks to be the favourite for this weekend.
The top Boscoscuro rider on Friday was Alonso Lopez who ended the day in second place. The Spaniard crashed at the end of the session and ended practice a minute early with a Red Flag.
Jake Dixon ended the day in third place for the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team. The British rider finished third in the morning session and backed it up in the afternoon.
OnlyFans American Racing Team rider, Marcos Ramirez, ended the day in fourth place.
The Fantic Racing Lino Sonego team ended the day in fifth and sixth. Barry Baltus was in fifth, with Aron Canet in sixth, but the Spaniard looked injured after a crash during the session.
BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 rider, Tony Arbolino, ended the day in seventh. The Italian was higher in the morning session but still secured a Q2 place for Saturday.
American rider, Joe Roberts, has also secured a Q2 place as he ended the day in eighth place.
The IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia rider, Mario Suryo Aji, had a successful Friday and ended up in ninth.
Moto2 rookie, Adrian Huertas, has secured a Q2 place as he ended the day in tenth.
