MotoGP Argentina, Free Practice Two Results: The Marquez brothers lead the final Practice session

The Marquez brothers end up 1-2 in the final Practice session of the weekend ahead of Qualifying.

Alex Marquez ends Saturday morning as the fastest rider at the Argentinian Grand Prix. The BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider is still searching for his first victory, which could come this weekend.

Marc Marquez ended the morning in second place behind his younger brother. The factory Ducati rider was less than 0.1 seconds behind and will be in victory contention.

Johann Zarco will be in a podium fight this weekend after he ended Practice in third place. The LCR Honda Castrol rider was less than 0.2 seconds behind Alex Marquez in Free Practice Two.

Fabio di Giannantonio continues his fast pace as he ended Free Practice Two in fourth. The Italian is still struggling with his shoulder, but is not using it as an excuse.

The top KTM rider in Argentina was Pedro Acosta as he ended the session in fifth place. The Spaniard was 0.5 seconds behind Alex Marquez on his KTM RC16.

MotoGP rookie, Fermin Aldeguer, ended the morning in sixth place on his BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP machine.

Two-time MotoGP World Champion, Francesco Bagnaia, could only manage a seventh place finish. The Italian put in his fastest lap in the final seconds of the session.

The top Aprilia on Saturday morning was Marco Bezzecchi as he ended up in eighth place ahead of Qualifying.

All five manufacturers were inside the top ten as two Yamaha's completed the top positions. Jack Miller was in ninth place and Fabio Quartararo completed the top ten as he finished in tenth.
